The design for this entry gateway and pavilion was a volunteer effort by Synthesis in conjunction with the City of Schenectady and Schenectady 2000, a volunteer group dedicated to the rejuvenation of downtown. The entry gateway was designed to compliment the existing granite piers at the park entry, and employeed local craftsmanship. The pavilion is constructed of simple natural materials, and designed in a cost-effective manner.
